Newell Sports Group — fighter document verification

What this programme is

Newell Sports Group sends a one-time 6-digit verification code by text message to boxers, and to the managers acting for them, so that they can securely upload the licensing and medical documents a state athletic commission requires before a bout.

The code pairs with an upload link sent separately by email. Both are needed. This is the only kind of text message this programme sends.

How you come to receive one

You receive a code only when you, or the team acting for you, have been asked to supply documents for a specific bout, using the mobile number given to Newell Sports Group for that purpose. Codes are not sent unprompted.

This programme sends no marketing, promotional or informational messages of any kind.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your own activity. In practice this is a small number of messages around each bout, typically one per upload request.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Newell Sports Group does not charge for these messages.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. You will receive a single confirmation, and then nothing further. Note that verification codes are one half of a two-part security check. If you stop them, you will not be able to use the document upload page, and Newell Sports Group will need to collect your documents another way.

Privacy
